Fri-YAY!

Have you had a good week?
It's been rather uneventful for me, but I am still definitely looking forward to clocking out of work at 6.30 tonight!

I have been getting all dreamy over big studios this week, with huge windows and sunlight streaming in. I love Cressida Campbell's studio (above photo), she's an Australian artist who creates beautiful one-off woodblock prints and I stumbled upon some photos of her workspace when I was reading an interview of her. With a studio like hers I can't ever imagine running low on inspiration and suffering from artists block. For now I'm having to cope with our teeny back bedroom on our old computer desk!

It's my first free weekend in ages and ages now, I did all my housework this morning so I am very excited for two days to myself. I have lots of plans and ideas that I can't wait to work on, there is literally nothing I love more than starting on a new project! I am definitely at my happiest in my old denim shirt and covered in paint or ink.

I know some people go all out for Valentines Day, but we never really celebrate it which is very unromantic of us. It's our 7 year anniversary next weekend so we normally always go out for dinner then when it's quieter and avoiding the ridiculous Valentines prices! Tom's working all weekend anyway, so I'm cooking us homemade pizzas and a very chocolatey dessert tomorrow night.

And also...the puppy needs a bath because he's starting to smell.

What can I say, I live a pretty wild life.

Enjoy the weekend whatever you have planned!

Gemma
