HOW is it March already? This year is whizzing past so quickly.
I like March. I start to remember what warmth feels like and that maybe there are other outfits to wear other than my slinky 3 jumpers and 2 pairs of socks combo.
It's a good month for slowly coming out of hibernation and planning for the rest of the year.
Goals for this month:
Spring Clean Having an untidy house makes me feel very icky and stressed. My mum has always kept her house clean, tidy and homely which I guess has been drilled into me. But then I also sometimes just can't be bothered, and it's amazing how quickly the kitchen worktops get all crummy, the bathroom gets water streaks all over it and huge piles of clothes appear in each corner of all bedrooms. The cleaning fairy is visiting this weekend for a deep clean! No dust bunny is safe!
Thinking about the Garden I loved our garden in the cottage and grew so many flowers and plants from seed in the Spring, so that in the Summer the front and back was full of colour. But our current house has a very uninspiring square of paving slabs and high wooden fencing at the back, and a gravel driveway at the front. I've not bothered to do anything yet this year but I know I will regret this in the Summer. Monty is back on the telly this Friday so I am going to have to pull my finger out and get those seeds sown. Otherwise I'm going to still have an uninspiring square of paving slabs when I actually want to sit outside in the sun.
Enough with the biscuits already I seem to still be in Christmas stuff-my-face mode. Seeing as it's now March this needs to stop. The tights will be put away soon and what's lurking under them are currently not fit for the outside world.
Hydrate Following on from the previous goal, I really need to start drinking more water. It is the easiest way to improve your skin, hair, maintaining a healthy weight and really good for avoiding headaches. I do know all of this, yet I can still get to 3 in the afternoon and realise I haven't actually drunk anything yet. Bad bad bad.
I think that will do for now?
What do you want to try and get done in the next few weeks?
March is the month for planning!
